GfK Population by Age Group includes up-to-date population figures, subdivided into 17 age groups in 5-year increments.
In the case of Germany, this dataset is available upon request down to the level of street segments to support microgeographic analyses.
This dataset includes up-to-date population figures, subdivided into 17 age ranges in 5-year increments. For Germany, in addition to the 5-year increments, an additional breakdown in 3-year increments is possible for residents under 20 years of age. Official statistics are used for calculating the population numbers as well as regular surveys of cities and municipalities. The detailed regionalization of the data is carried out using a geographic modeling technique developed by GfK GeoMarketing.
